So far So Good

I suppose I can start off this Blog with a update on recent events over the past few months (the short version) As you all know we are living in Washington now due to this lovely economy of ours. I have to tell you that it is sooo breathtakingly beautiful up here that it really gives me a whole new appreciation for nature. We have mountain & lake views everyday and the Ocean is 10 minutes away.
We LOVE Seattle. It's funny because the girls used to complain about their legs hurting them whenever we would take a short walk around the block. In the city the girls will walk and walk and never utter one complaint about their legs. I think that it's because there is so much to look at that they don't realize how far and long they've been walking!
We really do enjoy the city. One of our favorite places to go is Pike Place Market. It is hands down one of the best places to go to people watch. And trust me with all the different cultures and different walks of life....it gets interesting! The sights, the sounds & yes....even the smells are part of what is so great about this city!
We really do feel blessed to have the excitement of the city & the serenity of nature all at our fingertips. The only thing missing is you guys! All of our family & friends! It has been so tough to be away from everyone. The girls miss their grandparents so much and are looking forward to our trip to Boise during Spring Break.
Well, I hope I am getting this blog off to a good start and I hope you will enjoy hearing about what we are up to.

Testing, Testing

Okay, so I have decided to try a Family Blog thanks to the suggestion from my friend Melinda. She has her own family blog and thought it would be a great idea so we can keep all of our friends & family up to date on what is going on in the life of us Furrer's. I think it is a great idea! Please keep in mind that I am new to the whole blogging experience and am still learning....so you might find that our blog keeps changing until I get the hang of things! :)
Just consider us "under construction" for now.
